Resident Chef - About Chef Janet
Growing up in a large family, the dining table was the center of all family gatherings. My mother taught me the importance of starting with fresh seasonal ingredients to produce flavorful and nutritious entrees, sides, and baked goods. She fostered my love of family, friends, and food and created wonderful memories of occasions that combined all three.
Over the years I have increased my culinary knowledge and experience through travel, cooking classes, and courses at a local culinary school. With the encouragement of my friends and family I am fortunate to be able to turn my passion for food and cooking into my career.
In addition to my culinary knowledge I am a graduate of a Tourism and Hospitality school, and a member of the American Personal and Private Chef Association.
